Does anyone have any suggestions for shortening the amount of time that a migraine lasts? I want to shorten how long they hit me for and get on my feet faster.
Alternative medicines, vitamins or anything are worth a try.
I don't get migraines, but the neuralgia is brutal. I have not found a way myself to reduce my down time, but if you do find a way, please pass it along.
All I know is that if you lie down in a dark room with a cool rag on your head, you can help it. Not sure about shortening duration, I have not heard any tricks to that. If you can try to fall asleep that may help, but I know that is difficult to do when the pain is so intense you can't get your mind off of it.
