Chronic Bronchitis
#1
I think this it what I've been suffering from. I'll be good for a week or two, but with any sudden change in weather my lungs start to produce some greenish flem. It'll come and go.

Hmmm... Here is the difference between Chronic and Acute Bronchitis:

[]Acute Bronchitis.[] Resolves within two to three weeks.

[]Chronic Bronchitis.[] Persists for at least three months, most days of the month and at least two years in a row.

Have you experienced any of these []symptoms[]?

1. Cough that persists for at least three months, most days of the month and at least two years in a row.

2. Coughing is painful and causes chest and abdominal muscle to be sore.

3. Wheezing

4. Shortness of Breath

If you answered yes, then you might have Chronic Bronchitis. Please see a doctor and have your condition checked. Take care and keep us posted!

It ended up going away. I've been taking an antihistamine daily now, and I don't seem to be getting that thick greenish phlegm often. I think it was just Acute according to the definitions that you put up. I always thought chronic just mean that it reoccurs periodically.

Every year around Nov I get Bronchitis. It is the worse stuff.I get this hacking cough along with that horrible thick Mucus.I have to purchase Mucinex especially for Bronchitis which cost a whopping $20.00 a pack.I wish this Bronchitis would just forget about me.I will be letting my Doctor know that I have to switch Blood Pressure Meds because this Betta Blocker isn
t suppose to be taken if you have Bronchitis. This Bronchitis only comes once a year so the Medication should be safe for now.
