Insomnia causing digestive issues
#1
Recently I've had several days of no sleep and it has really worn me out as I try to concentrate during the day. The worse thing is that I feel bloated and constipated as I can't relax...

I'm sure which is worse, no sleep or constipated, or both affecting each other?

Unfortunately, sleep seems to be necessary for proper digestion. When I eat a full three meals my stomach swells visibly, and I've noticed that if I don't sleep, my stomach doesn't go back to normal like it usually does by morning.

You might try drinking some chamomile tea before bed. It's a mild sedative that can help you sleep, and it also might be good for the bloating.

I have the same problem when I go without sleep for extended periods of time. It is so uncomfortable and makes you feel even worse. Make sure you drinks lots of water and get lots of fiber.

The two go hand in hand. When you're immune system is compromised from lack of sleep your digestive tract will be affected adversely.

There are many people who suffer from insomnia causing constipation.

I advise you to take a cup of warm water on an empty stomach it helps you significantly.<div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;"]]
