Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction
#1
Has anyone else suffered with this condition during their pregnancy? I had this while pregnant with all four of my children. Surprisingly, many doctors and even some midwives do not know what it is. It is sever pain in the pelvis and pubis bone caused by the stretching of the ligaments in this area and can be linked to hormone levels.

I didn't suffer from this condition but have known a friend who did. Like you said, she experienced pain in front of the pelvis as well. She especially felt pain when walking or climbing the stairs. When she gave birth, the nurses didn't know that she has symphysis pubis dysfunction beforehand. It's a good thing her ob came in early and intervened her labor process.
