Balancing Rest and Exercise when you have RA
We know that with RA we should be sure to keep those joints moving and get on with life as far as possible. But sometimes I just want to say "Stop the World I want to get off". I just want to go to bed and have a day or so off. I feel guilty about it because I am no worse than on other days but it is amazing how the few days after I have had a 'rest' day, my back pain is so much less and walking is no harder than it would be if I had not rested. So where is the happy medium between resting and keeping those joints moving?
