I was reading recently that having a laptop on your lap all the time can cause infertility issues because the heat from the laptop is deadly to sperm. Sperm are stored outside the body because they need to be kept cooler than body temperature and laptops raise the temperature of that area when you have it on your lap. What are your thoughts?
I have heard about this too and so many men in their 20s are always using a laptop and disregarding (or they don't know at all) this information. What kills me the most is when they use one without a chill pad. A $15 investment could save you from being sterile down the road!
I have also heard of this and, when me and my ex were together, this was one of the reasons I bought a laptop desk. It applies to pretty much anything that may be kept near the testicle area for too long and make them overheat.
I have worried about this in the past and looked into it. It is true but the laptop would need to be placed on your lap for an excessive period of time. However it is better to be safe than sorry!
I also found that there are are a number of reasons why you might not be able to maintain an erection, fitness and nerves being some of them. [the rest of the message has been edited to remove potentially offensive content]

I also learnt that even if one uses one’s laptop on a desk, there are still dangers from the non-ionizing type of radiation it emits.
I have long wondered about all of this but never did the research. My own limited knowledge told me that is was not safe to let the laptop rest directly on you and hence I have cushioned mine most of the time. Even as we speak.
All this talk about radiation in phones and from the laptop makes me quite uncomfortable. Think it is time I got this one off my lap right away. It feels like nothing is safe anymore.
