Lotrimin Is Not Working For Ringworm - Need Other Suggestions
I have been using this for two weeks, but I don't notice any big changes. Are there some other OTC medications that have worked for ringworm? I have a big family reunion coming up and I don't want to have this on my arm anymore!
I do not know if this is reaching you before the reunion or not. However, you may want to look at a prescription to take orally. You may also have a doctor to check it out because you could be treating the wrong type of disease and it may be something which requires a different type of medication all together.
I would take Pao d'Arco to treat my ringworm internally. It has anti-fungal properties and it cleared it up for me within a week. This alternative remedy is great for those who can't get a prescription antibiotic too. You can also soak the area with apple cider vinegar. It is also an anti-fungal remedy.
My brother has a one before, but he is not aware if it is a ringworm. He only has this sore feeling on the part have ringworm until it become bigger and the form is like a reddish ring. We go to the pharmacy and ask for the solution and they prescribed FUNGISOL. It heals just a couple of days.
Allylamines, such as terbinafine (Lamisil). Allylamines come as creams, pills, and gels. Terbinafine also comes as oral granules, which are little grains that can be sprinkled over food and easily swallowed. Lamisil is available as a cream without a prescription.
