What is depression therapy?

Depression is a potentially life-threatening disorder affecting millions of people across the globe. I have had depression I would say for about most of my life. I always feel alone in the universe. Most of my time, I like to spend inside my bedroom looking up anything on the internet. I always feel like I’m not good enough for anyone. Not excited about things happening around me. Just a “meh” remained with me all the time.

I struggled on into my early twenties with feelings of anxiousness and depression. I used Klonopin to cover up the symptoms for many years but the anxiety simply returned if I didn't use it. Later, I consulted a psychiatrist who is specialized in anxiety disorders. She convinced me that she was having excellent results with serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors.

In a time period of two months, my symptoms worsened. After a few months, I stopped using such drugs. My friend insisted me to join a []depression therapy program at a health center in Toronto[]. He said that the therapy really worked well for many. Do you have any such experiences? Please let me know your thoughts regarding this treatment.
