when to mention you have RA
Hello,
I am dating a man I like very much right now. I am wondering when is the right time to tell him I have rheumatoid arthritis? I really don't want to scare him away.

RE: when to mention you have RA
Hi,
You have to tell them earlier instead of later. If he likes you, it should not matter. If it is a big problem, what kind of a boy is he? If you don't tell him, you may have a few days with a flare and be acting strange either avoiding him or having him concerned that you hurt yourself or something. I think it is better early. Good luck :)

RE: when to mention you have RA
I am dating too and tell women fairly early so that they they don't find out the wrong way. Secrets are bad and IMHO women take them worse than men do, but no guy is going to good when they feel like you were keeping something secret from him. If it makes sense, tell him and don't be over dramatic about it. I know I don't like drama.
