travelling with injected medications

Hi all,

My job has me going to Malaysia next month and my coworkers now have me scared about going into the country carrying my syringes of methotrexate. Everyone has mentioned the signs at the airport talking about the death penalty for drug trafficking and the penalties for drug use. I really don't want to go into jail trying to explain that I have RA?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

My wording sounds like I am asking if anyone has experienced the death penalty or serious penalties for drugs use. What I meant to ask was whether anyone has experience in traveling with injected medications. Did a doctor's note work or what did you need to do?

I understand your first message although clarity is good always.

When I have traveled, I have received a special card from my doctor that indicates my medical need for the medication. It was a special cardboard card he gave me. I don't know if it is the same everywhere.

Good luck and stay from prison :)
