After having to make several long trips back and forth to North Carolina I was diagnosed with this Edema but was told it was most likely due to the long drives. FYI I do also have back problems, have had 5 surgeries and still suffer from continuing degeneration and pinched nerves or "radiculitis"  My right foot and calf has tripled in size in the last three days and I haven't done any long drives or even walks in quite some time. Any comments/suggestion/anyone else been through it? Any help would be appreciated it takes sometimes 3 weeks to get into my Dr and it feels as if it is ready to explode.
