Is it okay to get massage therapy after a heart attack? My mom who is in her sixties had a heart attack and now she is taking part in a cardiac rehabilitation program nearby my place. Her doctor asked her to follow a strict diet and to do simple exercises to reduce the risk of heart problems. I read that massage therapy can be beneficial to heart patients
and post-heart surgery patients. Is it so? I'm wondering whether this treatment is applicable for my mom. She doesn't have any health problems other than this. Should I need to discuss this with her doctor? Any thoughts?
