Anxiety and alcoholism

Hi! I have been drinking alcohol for years and not able to quit from it. The maximum days which I can live without it is may be three to four days, then it's the same routine. I have tried AVRT, did counselling and even read many books on alcoholism. But nothing worked. I am so scared and don't want to go on like this anymore. It's consumption and hangovers make me feel more anxious. I am never anxious or depressed or feel psychologically affected at any other time. Do I have to take the help of any alcohol addiction treatment centres in Toronto for a fast recovery? Hoping someone can give me thoughts on what I should do now.

RE: Anxiety and alcoholism

The main thought is... nobody will really help you If you're not willing to help yourself in the first place. The lack of self-control is the main thing that's killing you, slowly or rapidly. No matter what your addiction exactly is, controlling yourself is key. I hope you fully understand this.
