I have been struggling with my addiction. And the worst part of all is I am fed up of all advice from family and friends. I hate being questioned and advised like this. I am depressed. I am not able to control my urge for this. IT is not in my control. What can I do? Even boyfriend is advising these days and that is something that I am not able to bare. I am depressed in one side another side this addiction. Oh my God, what should I do? My boyfriend wants me to attend addiction treatment at Edgewood ( http://www.edgewood.ca ). But will an addiction treatment meet my two needs? I need a change in my life. I don’t know how far this treatment would create a change in me. Anyone have any suggestions or any experiences to share? </span>

RE: Alcohol addiction and depression

I was a seriously alcohol addicted person and depressed too. I tried myself a lot to quit alcohol but did not success. I was read an article about quit alcohol is here: http://canadiancentreforaddictions.org/h...g-alcohol/

This article helps me much and I was then contacted with that organization. Finally I am now recovered fully. They counselled and treatment me for 1 year.

RE: Alcohol addiction and depression

In such a case you must take treatment and can visit opiate detox norfolk center that is very popular for its addiction treatment. Have also taken treatment from there that has really helped me to overcome my addition within 4 months. Happy with their services.
