Where has all of the Excedrin gone?

Excedrin migraine is one of the only things I can take for my migraines, but it's not on the store shelves anymore! I know there was a recall at some point, but for how long is it going to go on? Does anyone have an idea?

It does give me side effects, but I've learned to live with them in order to get rid of migraines.

Excedrin was recalled in January, but few people actually heard about it at that time. The company (Novartis 1-800-468-7746) has said that its problems with the product are now recognized and that it will be available again by mid year or so. If you have few options for pain relief, they say that travel packs are available.

I hope that helps. I found out the hard way as well.

Thanks for that info! I had no idea. My dad buys the Wal-Mart brand, and I always snatch some up when I'm at their house, but it seems to make my stomach upset. I'm so glad it will be back this year, though.

I did read that they were going to be reintroducing it after the recall. I've seen it recently in the drug store. The active ingredients are acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine. Have you tried taking a Tylenol, Aspirin and drinking some soda or tea for the caffeine? It might help you until the Excedrin is reintroduced everywhere.
