Did you need any kind of medical intervention to get pregnant?

Meds, IUI, IVF?

RE: Did you need any kind of medical intervention to get pregnant?

I never had to use anything to get pregnant, but I do know several people that did. One girl I knew took some meds the doctor prescribed (I wish I could remember the name!) and was pregnant a few months later after having tried for more than a year.

If I decide to have another baby and have problems conceiving, I will certainly consider taking what she did.

Was it Clomid Anna?

No. I didn't even intend to get pregnant. I'm still young and I don't have reproductive issues. My aunt wanted to get pregnant at 40 and she tried a fertility treatment (not sure what it was, though). She succeeded in getting pregnant and delivering a healthy baby boy.

I have also been fortunate enough to conceive without medical intervention but my best friend had to undergo IVF in order to fall pregnant with her daughter! However, after 12 years of trying and just three months after having her daughter following IVF she fell pregnant naturally and is due to give birth - to a boy- in December.

Not really since I got pregnant by accident with my son. I must say, most people I know didn't need any medicines to get pregnant. But one of which, my aunt, didn't really got pregnant even with medicines. So they just chose to adopt some of my cousins whose parents cannot afford their studies and day to day lives.
