Natural Cure For Ringworm

When I was pregnant I had gotten ringworm on my leg. I believe I got it from using a public shower at a campground over the summer, but I wasn't 100% sure. Since I was pregnant I really didn't want to use a prescription. I did some research and found that raw garlic has healing properties in it that cure ringworm. I rubbed it on the ringworm everyday for a week and it was gone.

If you do not want to use a prescription cream, the garlic cloves worked as a natural cure for me.

Wow, I had never heard of this before. When one of the little ones got ringworm, we just immediately went with a prescription to get rid of it. I didn't even think about treating it at home. Then again, I doubt they would've wanted to go to school smelling like garlic the whole week either. :P

How long did you have to use the garlic before it went away?

I am not sure if this would really work or not but I have read that vinegar mixed with water and applied to the infected part can cure ring worms. As far as I have read, you have to apply it for 2 weeks and it will cure you of the itch. How one can bear with the smell though, I don't know.
