I have a loved one who continues to have reoccurring nightmares and is on the verge of taking caffeine for it, primarily to stay awake. Can anyone help? We are trying to lean towards more of a natural remedy for these awkward nightly disturbances? Any thoughts?
One of my children had a reoccurring nightmare which was handled with success using these tips. Examine the nightmare to use this method to resolve. Take for instance the dream of falling. I mentioned her ability to instantly create long, strong fingernails to stop the falling and to actually use them to climb out of the area. The suggestion was reinforced in the morning after the nightmare solution was given to make sure it was remembered. Just saying "Remember the nails" can be said prior to bedtime so the person has the tools to fight nightmares. For any age, use imagery to give the solution to the nightmare.
