Recovery After Cataract Surgery?

My husbands grandmother is having cataracts removed this month.

What are some ways to help her recover as quickly and painlessly as possible after her surgery?

RE: Recovery After Cataract Surgery?

Recovery time after cataract surgery is only a couple of days. She won't be feeling too much pain really. The one thing I remember about my dad's eyes after his surgery was that he required special drops every couple of hours, the first few days after surgery. Good luck to your husband's grandmother!

Recovery is not actually painful. Her doctor will give her eye drops to help with the cataract recovery. But whenever your husband's grandmother feels little bit irritation is her eye, immediately consult your doctor. My father was allergic to the first eye drop that the doctor recommended. We had to buy a new one that would not irate his eyes. Thankfully, he has fully recovered from his cataract without any complications and side effects.
