PTSD Secondary to Chronic Pain?

I'm sure you have all struggled through finding a doctor to take your pain seriously, struggled against being labelled a drug addict, struggled with loss of income and relationships along with many other problems.

Surely these struggles generate their own mental health disorders.

I found that changing pain management doctors lowered my blood pressure and improved my feelings of self worth, but I still have lingering mental and emotional issues.

Has anyone read about studies of chronic pain patients and their rates of PTSD?
