Is Breast Cancer in Males More Dangerous? - member72096  - 07-31-2012 11:54 PM

How does breast cancer in males differ from breast cancer in females? At the risk of sounding uninformed or sexist, I imagine it might be easier for females because you have a lot more tissue in your breasts that can be removed if necessary. Males don't have nearly as much so it may not be an option for them. What do you think/know?

Even men have breast tissue and that they can develop breast cancer. But in very few cases. If you find any symptoms better to consult a doctor.

I don't think breast cancer in males is more dangerous, I tend to believe it's the opposite because the case of men with breast cancer are way less frequent than in women. Sure, it can happen and in that case the important is to have an early diagnose in order to make treatment possible.

Survival rates are averages and vary depending on each man's diagnosis and treatment. Though, I doesn't think it is most men with breast cancer have no apparent risk as compared to women.
